Following in Bill's footsteps, his son Clyde, also went into the insurance business. Clyde started his insurance career in 1952 working for an insurance company in Toronto. In 1958 Clyde decided it was time to establish his own insurance brokerage. 

For many years later Clyde has been joined by two of his sons and his only daughter. First Paul joined in 1983, then Joanne in 1996 with Patrick following along in 1997.W. Clyde Robertson Insurance Ltd. is a member of the I.B.A.O. and an active member in the local broker association, Mississauga Insurance Brokers Association. We have also been involved in coaching and sponsoring boys and girls hockey teams, specifically the Oakville Hornets Girls Hockey League. We assist in the annual M.I.B.A. charity golf tournament with the proceeds going to the Special Olympics. We are active on the Parent Council for the Dufferin Peel Catholic School Board and a past member of the Oakville Crime Prevention Committee.

We are an active participant in the M.I.B.A.'s various community activities. Bill's commitment to his clients was service, and this is a philosophy that we have maintained for 60 years, now spanning 3 generations. Since 1943, The Robertson's have earned the trust of individuals and business' by ensuring that their insurance needs are met in a professional, timely and efficient manner.
